Vermont Interfaith Action (VIA) is an organization rooted in the shared values of compassion and justice – values that are common to people of good will whether they belong to a faith tradition or not. We bring hundreds of people of vision into the same tent, without regard to race, religion, educational or economic background, or immigration or incarceration status. We show that ordinary people can do extraordinary things to create real change—when we do them together!

VIA’s singular focus is on systemic change – concentrating on what institutional, structural, and policy-oriented decisions are keeping our people from being able to thrive in today’s world. When hard-working people cannot make ends meet – when they are overwhelmed by challenges in housing, education, and healthcare – something is terribly wrong. When our BIPOC siblings continue to be pushed out of the conversations and their voice is not being centered, something is terribly wrong. VIA provides the opportunity to amplify our voices, build bridges, and mobilize empowered people to create transformational change.

Join Vermont Interfaith Action in building power by raising funds to address homelessness, immigration reform & racial justice!
